FRAGMENT A fragment is a uncomplete sentence that doesn't have a subject, predicate, or punctuation mark. Examples: -The dog was - likes her sandwich -Do you like comic books

RUN-ON A run-on is a continued sentence that doesn't have a pause or punctuation. Example: -My father and I made some hamburgers and we put them on the backyard table father called my mother and sister they were very delighted

How to NOT make fragment sentences. -Sentences have a subject and predicate. Make sure to have these in your sentences. -If you sentence feels like it's missing too much details, it's probably a fragment. Sentences should always have enough details for the reader to know what's going on.

How to NOT make run-on sentences -Make sure the sentence doesn't sound like your cramming the word in your mouth -Remember to double check your work and adding punctuation where necessary.
