Even when you are 100% sure that a person is completely wrong, never say the following words on their face, "You're Wrong". Instead, deal with it in a disguise of doubt or curiosity. Tell them you are double checking for your own sake and then logically uncover their mistake.

Avoid arguments at any cost. They are disturbing and they promote negativity. If you still land in one, control your temper and make sure that you don't hurt the other person. All that, is pretty hard to achieve since arguments by nature contain opposition and not always a healthy one. Avoid them.

You can't win an argument. You can't because if you lose it, you lose it; and if you win it, you lose it.

When you are wrong, stop going around in circles trying to manipulate your way out of that, Admit it. Its probably not easy but its the quickest most error free way to get out of it. Not just that, realize your mistake and commit in your heart to never do it again. It will elevate your status in other's eyes.

Coming across people with differing views and ways of doing a task can be tricky to manage. Always focus on the common ground, elaborate the fact that you are striving for the same thing and put them in a situation where all they can say is 'yes'. Be wisely persuasive and honest.

When in a disagreement or facing a complaint, let the other person speak. Understand their situation and give them room to handle. Just listening to their problem with concern can make them calm down instantly. Listen more, and argue less.

When trying to convince someone to do something, keep shedding light on the nobler motives. Now what that means is that, you make the person look at the result of what you are asking and how that is for the greater good and how it just makes more sense in a morally correct world.

When someone presents an idea to you, always pick the best out of it. Encourage them to implement it and then give them credit. Make them realize, they can do it, and they have done it. Never focus on the weak side from the very beginning, instead help them see it and improve it.

To make people see the brightness of your idea, dramatize it and make them the hero. Elaborate how this idea can bring wonderful changes to their life and be of complete use to them.

When encouraging a person and being appreciative doesn't get you results, allure them to be competitive but in an extremely subtle way. As Charles Swab says, "The way to get things done, is to stimulate competition. I do not mean in a sordid, money-getting way, but in the desire to excel."

Looking to lead people?, First things first, like them, praise them and appreciate them with sincerity. This is single-handedly, the way to a humans liking, its in our nature. We like praise, we love it and we want it.

Being a leader means, pointing out people's mistake and making them correct it and then they hate you for doing that. To avoid the hate part, go for improving remarks rather than pointing the mistake out, actually keep it a secret and lose the focus on the fault. That will get you results and the liking.

Being a leader doesn't mean that you are perfect, of course you are not. To make that healthy and humble connection with the people, make them see how ordinary you are and how you make mistakes too. Lastly, tell them how you correct them, they ought to follow that.

Being a leader does not mean that people must do what you say, actually they must co-operate with you. Don't go around throwing orders here and there, suggest and ask and then things will fall into place naturally.
