Families are messy. Immortal families are eternally messy. Sometimes the best we can do is to remind each other that we’re related for better or for worse…and try to keep the maiming and killing to a minimum.

What means family to us? Is it mom and dad and sisters, so the family we were born into? Are we feeling home in our original family and if not, how can we make pease with it? Can we find family and feel home somewhere else that perhaps goes far beyond traditional perceptions of a family?
