for example lets start off with something basic 5 % you turn it into 5/100 then you look for a the greatest common factor of 5 and 100 witch is 5 and divide 5 by 100 and 5 by 5 and you get 1/20 < (that's a fraction) by the way you have to simplify the number till it cant be simplified anymore
