We can always find something to be thankful for and there may be reasons why we ought to be thankful for even those dispensations which appear dark and frowning.

Neglect is enough to ruin a man; a man who is in business need not commit forgery or robbery to ruin himself; he has only to neglect his business, and his ruin is certain.

We can always find something to be thankful for, no matter what may be the burden of our wants, or the special subject of our petitions.
