The spring-webflux module includes a reactive, non-blocking client for HTTP requests with a functional-style API client and Reactive Streams support called WebClient (AsyncRestTemplate has been deprecated).

Spring uses the project Reactor as the implementation of the Reactive Streams Specification.

Reactive Streams specification contains 4 interfaces: Publisher, Subscriber, Subscription and Processor.
