We mainly use Mono, Flux and StepVerifier when working with Spring WebFlux and the project Reactor.

Spring uses the project Reactor as the implementation of the Reactive Streams Specification.

Spring Framework 5 requires Java 8.

Spring WebFlux uses Netty server by default.
