At this point, I can't say what network would be picking it up, but I know that it would be a success.

I gotta get working, you know? I've been too busy. I've been trying my hardest, but it's really tough.

That's just the way this business works. You're a reliable commodity.

The cool part about working for Disney is that they've allowed me to be a change agent.

Just like Tim Robbins is very political - and obviously, Arnold Schwarzenegger must be - I want to be able to have this public personality that's considered authoritative.

And I'm working with all these great people at Sony Publishing.

You know, I'd love to do a Maxim shoot. But I'm not going to do it, because that's just stupid to do.

I also never went there when I was little because I was too busy working and traveling on national tours.

So I'll go eat places and then I'll run it off in the show.

And after I make a lot of money, I'll be able to afford running for office.

But first I want to get my master's degree at Columbia's School of International Public Affairs.

You don't need really expensive clothes to look cute.

So that's what's going on right now, and I'm looking to put out an album within the next six months.

But it's a Broadway show, so even if you're Christine in Phantom, you're still a princess. All female leads are princesses whether they're Disney princesses or not.

Because I'm not trying to throw people any curves.

In my heart of hearts, I know that whatever I do is going to have integrity, and I'm going to work really hard, and I know that fans are going to take to it.

Developing a series is a next step for me.

Also, I knew that the impact of Motorcycle Diaries was going to be so resonant for all of us who went through the experience of making it that I didn't want to do anything that could reflect it.

Only good girls keep diaries. Bad girls don't have time.

It's the good girls who keep diaries; the bad girls never have the time.

You know, some of the good part of blog theory was that blogs would be like diaries that the world could read. They would be spontaneous, whatever pops into your mind, as a diary would be.

Dark Water was one of my favourite films to shoot because of Walter. I had seen the previous films he had directed, Central Station and Motorcycle Diaries, and I thought they were great. I really trusted him.

You know, Motorcycle Diaries has no incredible stories, no sudden plot twists, it doesn't play that way. It's about recognizing that instance of change and embracing it.

I read The Bell Jar, and then I read her memoir and her diaries, and a third book, an outside opinion. Just the way she made the pillows so neat on the oven door. It just seems to be the opposite of, if you're going to take your life, in a horrible rage it happens.

History is malleable. A new cache of diaries can shed new light, and archeological evidence can challenge our popular assumptions.

People talked to me in a way I think they would not have talked to somebody who hadn't shared the experience; they gave me their papers, they gave me their diaries. I found people constantly opening up to me. And I think they did because I had shared that experience with them.

I was too lazy to start a whole new story, so I just stuck a princess into the story I was working on... and The Princess Diaries was born!

Though my father was Norwegian, he always wrote his diaries in perfect English.

Over the last two years, I have been able to comb through The Prince's archives. I have been free to read his journals, diaries and many thousands of the letters.

But the thing I felt most strongly about, and put at the end of one of the prison diaries, was education.

Well I think after leaving prison, and having written three diaries about life in prison, it became a sort of a new challenge to write another novel, to write a new novel.

My kids enjoy the Disney program, Lizzy McGuire.

I wanted to be a part of the Disney history.

Disney had such a hold on the mind of America-they were Adolf Hitler. The whole country thought Disney was some sort of god and that animation was some sort of pure thing for children.

One of the best animated films I've seen come out of Disney was the Tarzan movie. I wasn't crazy about the story or the design on Tarzan's face, but the traditional animation was spectacular.

I have a 6-year-old, and his thing is to turn on Radio Disney in the car, and I get such an allergic reaction to listening to that music and the context into which it falls. I'm really working on him about that.

I'm saddened to see that some have been misled into believing that Mr. Disney was something other than a kind, caring man.

Disney made a fortune out of inventing the businessman's idea of the imaginary as the contradictory of the businessman's idea of the real.

Florida has tons of entertainment opportunities because Walt Disney World and Universal Studios are there.

We've been able to access deals that under our former relationship with Disney - with tax advantages and strategic partners - that we just weren't able to do.

That's always at the heart and soul of Disney's features, the feeling of a family values.
