The maximum lenght of a thought is 320 characters (with space) that is about 2 lines in MS Word.  If you add "@Name" in the third line the system will create a quote.

With Mindzip you can save and organize inspiring and important thoughts. The MindZip Study Coach helps you to repeat and remember them. After a few weeks (5-8 repetitions) you will have internalized most of them. Then you will be able to actively recall what you have learned.

💡If you publish collections of thoughts other MindZippers will be able to subscribe them.  You will inspire other people by let them participate in your experience. Thereby you can also find and connect like minded people. Other MindZippers will start following you.

In MindZip each thought belongs to a collection.  A collection can have an unlimited number of thoughts.

Collections contain of: Title | Cover picture (please respect copyrights) | Summary | Chapters | Thoughts | Thought Pictures | Thoughts can have tags

Thoughts have a max length of 320 characters (incl. space) and 11 lines.  There are 2 type of thoughts: Your own words, regular THOUGHTS. or QUOTES, you quote somebody else.

💡To use the web editor open: https://editor.mindzip.net Login with the same Facebook account/Email that you use in the app. All changes will be instantly saved. 

Create a new collection with the button "New collection" in the menu on the top right.

Add a title Add a cover picture (optional) RESPECT COPYRIGHTS - YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PICTURE Add a summary in “description” (optional)

There is the first chapter "Key thoughts" and a first empty thought already created. You can edit both. 

💡 Create a new thought by clicking on the “+” button on the right side of the screen.

On the lower right of each flashcard you can add a picture. DELETE thoughts by clicking on the “…” button on the upper right of each flashcard.

CREATE a CHAPTER On the left side of the screen you will find a “+” symbol, where you can add a new chapter

CREATE a QUOTE In the lower part of each flashcard you will find a field “create quote”. Type in the author’s name to create a quote.

💡 Move thoughts by clicking on the 4 dots on the upper left side of each flashcard. Drag them to move. You can move a thought within a chapter or to other chapters.

You can DELETE a whole COLLECTION with the “…” icon on the top right side of the screen.

Exit the editing of a collection by going back to your library. You find the library button on the upper left side of the screen

💡 Create your collections with ANY TEXT EDITOR and UPLOAD as .docx-file. In "My library" you find the “New collection” button on the upper right side. Press “Import new collection” to upload a .docx-file

You can test your upload with a sample file, you can download on the “import collection” screen. In this file, there is a description on how to write a collection in a text editor.

Create a chapter by using ">>>" before the chapter title.

If you want to add tags, add them in the line below your thought, starting with #

The end of a thought and the start of the next thought will be indicated with 3 dots in the next line: "..."

If you finished writing the collection upload it by drag & drop the file to the box in the “import collection” screen.

Open the collections and click on “Publish collection” in the top right of your screen. RESPECT COPYRIGHTS for the cover image.

💡 You can send a direct link to your published collections to friends. Go to he app: Library, open the collection. On the lower right of the screen there is a “share” button. Click to share. If you have unsaved changes in your collection, you need to press the “update” button first.

💡 You can edit and update your collections after publishing. If you update a thought in the app you have to tap the “Update” button in the collection before other readers can see the updates in your collection.

If you update in the web you need to press the “…” button on the top right and choose “Update”.
