The Gita is not a book of commandments but a book of choice.

Set thy heart upon thy work, but never on its reward.

Perform all work carefully, guided by compassion.

There is more to life than the everyday experience of our senses.

Selfish action imprisons the world. Act selflessly, without any thought of personal profit.

They live in wisdom who see themselves in all and all in them, who have renounced every selfish desire and sense craving tormenting the heart.

When a person responds to the joys and sorrows of others as if they were his own, he has attained the highest state of spiritual union.

The immature think that knowledge and action are different, but the wise see them as the same.

How can you truly love the one you're with when you can't forget the one who got away?

Lust, anger, and greed are the three doors to hell.

The very heart of the Gita’s message is to see the Lord in every creature and act accordingly.
